George "Bitter Creek" Newcomb

Nine mile flat is located east of Oklahoma City on North Canadian River. The flat east of Norman is 10 mile flat. I believe you will find that Bitter Creek is buried as Alfred H. Newcomb in the Kolb Cemetery near Spencer, Ok in east Oklahoma County. His father James Darley Newcomb is also buried there.
