Chesterfield Cylinder Plant In Enid (OK)

I see this is an old issue. Much may have been already updated. Nicholas Investment Company, after for years attempting to find a domestic user, was contacted by a British business broker that had company in India that was inquiring about the forge , presses , etc that produced the acetylene welding tanks. The systems was sold that firm in India, disassembled, interestingly enough by one man hiring temporary assistance from time to time, in a period of about a year. The unit was trucked to Galveston, shipper to India and is presumably an operating facility there. About a year later , roughly 2012, the building was leased to Pelagic Corp., a firm that manufactured vessels for the oil patch. (separators, tanks, etc.) Pelagic in turn was acquired by Legacy Corp. Measurement Solutions in march of 2015. Legacy has since shuttered the plant (may of 2016) and offered the building for sale. A sale is currently pending on that building. (June 2016)
