Enid-Pond Creek Railroad War (1893-1894)

I grew up visiting my grandparents' farm located between Lamont and Pond Creek,and never have heard about the Railroad Wars before. I did know that Pond Creek had once been called Round Pond...very interesting. I'll bet lobying was just as influencial in those days as now. Charles M. Cook in Louisiana Bayou Country
