Jiffy Lube - Who Can You Trust

I am aware of similar fraud actions at major gas stations. The one I remember happened near Disney World in Orlando in about 1976. A customer drove in to get gas, the attendant asked if he could check the oil. The customer agreed and went to the restroom. When he returned one of his tires had been slashed and he was told his alternator needed to be replaced. He agreed and the alternator was taken to the garage, cleaned, painted and put back on the car. Then he learned that he had needed oil added, he had been "short sticked," and need the tire replaced. He reported this to AAA and they set up a sting with the Sheriff. Got that dude!
