8-19-07: Hi Linda, this is Jan from OKC/Shawnee - I just drove from Lake Eufaula/Porum Landing in the most blinding rain that I have ever driven in since learning to drive. Several people had hydroplaned off the highway & into the ditches - if they would slow down some that probably won''t happen because I started to hydroplane myself about 4 times. <br><br> It only rained slow but stead while at Big Bass Park the whole day Saturday & Sunday. <br><br> I heard from a friend via cell phone upon coming into OKC that Kingfisher was totally under water & evacuating the town. I guess it stormed here in OKC Saturday night pretty bad - my phone is out. I couldn't get into make this comment under your first article pertaining to weather there in Bayfield/CO - says your/the server is down. Please post it wherever you can or want to.
