1937-38 Kemper Military Photos...

Thank you Linda! That would be great. My Dad loved Kemper. He went on to the University of Texas and then to law school after the war, but his days at Kemper were very fond ones.

Dan, It is a small world, isn't it! If your dad went to Kemper Military between 1937-39, then My Uncle Bob McGill may have crossed paths with your dad. I will look back through some old class photos that my uncle had from back then and see if a Garrett gave him a signed photo.

My Dad attended Kemper Military Academy in the late 30's (37-39 I believe). His name was Clyde W. Garrett from Eastland,Texas. He was the son of the U.S. Congressman Clyde L. Garrett. My Dad was the fullback on the unbeaten Kemper football squads during these years. I have several photos of him at Kemper, write ups on their games from the Booneville paper, and his football letter. He served in WWII flying 29 combat missions in the Army. Please feel free to contact me if I can share copies of the photos, etc.
