Oklahoma Weather & Wheat...

I was in Alva to attend the annual Spring Reunion. The Conoco across from the campus was selling unleaded regular at $2.719. There was one other station with a sign showing $2.699. It had rained buckets there on Friday when we arrived. Probably to late for the wheat as stated elsewhere. Lots of bales of wheat were visable. We drove in rain all the way from NE Kansas. From Abiline (KS) to Wichita we drove in heavy rain with low visiblility. Here in NE KS we got 1.6 on the farm and in town some said closer to 2.0 inches of rain. All easy and well deserved.
