WANDELL'S CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING DAY

A profusion of spring flowers decorated the home of Mr. And Mrs. C.F. Wandell at Coyle when they were complimented at the reception Saturday celebrating their Golden Wedding anniversary, Saturday.

Arrangements of roses, daffodils and snapdragons in shades of gold were used throughout the rooms and the three-tiered brides cake centered the lace-covered table from which the cake and punch were served.Approximately 90 visited the Wandells and many gifts were presented the honorees. During the evening wedding vows were reenacted before the family and a few friends. Rev. Chester Aiken presided and Mrs. Tim Wandell, Oregon was brideís maid and Clarence Wandell, the son, gave the bride away and the grandson, Ted Thompson served as best man.

Mrs. Elmer Ferguson, a niece, was ring bearer. Both Mrs. Ferguson and Mrs. Tim Wandell were present at the wedding 50 years ago. Other guests present were, Mrs. Clarence Wandell, Mr. And Mrs. Eddie Wandell and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Puckett and children and Mrs. Ted Thompson of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Chester Aiken and daughter of McLoud, Mr. And Mrs. J.B. Parrish of El Reno, Mr. And Mrs. Devere Ingle and children, Mrs. Alta Dobson and Mrs. Ermine Lewis. A daughter, Mrs. Sherman Whittington and family from Whittier, Calif., and one granddaughter, Mrs. Jimmie Carroll and family from Washington could not be present.
