Walking With Sweet Silly Sadie

With all that is going on in the aftermath of the 2106 US Presidential election, acts of hate and intolerance were reported in alarming numbers. That is why NW Okie and I (Sweet Sadie Pug) have donned our wearing of a single Safety Pin in Solidarity, unity and strength as a symbol of tolerance, inclusion, support and empathy. NEWS Compounded From Initials of Four Principal Points of Compass (N.E.W.S.) Is A Fallacy

WOW! I did not realize this until I was researching through old news archives, especially the Weekly Atchison Champion, out of Atchison, Kansas, dated 30 July 1870, Saturday, page 2: "NEWS." It was a pretty conjecture, only it had not a morsel of foundation, though.
