Chester (Tailholt), Oklahoma

For those of you who don't know where Chester, Oklahoma is located ... it is a small town in Major County, Northwest part of the state. It's where hwy. 281 intersects in the middle of town with the highway leading east towards Fairview (highway 60).

Lupercalia - Pre-Roman Pastoral Festival, 13-15 February

Lupercalia was a very ancient, possibly pre-Roman pastoral festival, observed on February 13 through 15 to avert evil spirits and purify the city, releasing health and fertility.
