Code Talkers of WWI

A website for the Choctaw Nation Indians that mentions the Code Talkers of World War I & II, as written by Phillip Allen. Did Native Americans fight in World War I? The answer is Yes!

The number is roughly 16,000 enlisted in the 1900's to help. Something like 25,000 in WWII. Almost half the population during WWI weren't legal citizens yet, so many were with volunteer enlistment rewarded by being granted citizenship.
