In the year 1912, one hundred years ago, we had the sinking of the Titanic and numerous lives lost and women and wives left alone as their spouses went down with the ship. How many Titanic babies were born that year?

Have you ever heard of The Indian advocate, published by the Benedictine Fathers of the Indian Territory, that was used to plead the cause of the last remnants of the Indian tribes, and to give a history of their progress toward civilization? We found an issue dating back to January, 1894 (Vol. VI, No. 1).

History of Rockbridge County, Virginia - Annals of 1737-1777

As we continue our history of Rockbridge County, Virginia, we come to the "Orange Order-Book, 1735-1745 1111 tithables, 18 November 1735. Rockbridge County, Virginia was formed in 1778 from Augusta and Botetourt counties. The Southern portion of Rockbridge was a part of Botetourt County for only eight years, as Botetourt was formed from Augusta County in 1770.

1912 - Women To March Here March 4 (1913)

We found this interesting article in The Washington Herald, dated Monday, December 2, 1912, out of Washington, D.C., concerning the suffragists plan to have section in the Inaugural parade. They were to discuss plans during the present week. If no place is given in Big Show, there would be separate pageant.
