NW Okie's Journey

We are still research in history of Indian Territory (1895) this week for the OkieLegacy Ezine/Tabloid. WE have some history of the Morgan Bill, which the prohibitory clause in the Morgan bill, if properly enforced, would have a tendency to reduce the number of "elevator" whiskey bottles left along Bud Weldon's trail through this country.

Found on Newspapers.com

There was also a wonder if the Cherokee delegation would claim the honor of saving the obnoxious tribal courts clause eliminated from eh Morgan court bill. It was also rumored that somebody should whisper in their ear that it was the fear of the president's veto that did it.

One of the most pathetic incidents connected with the territory court legislation back then was the report of Judge parker's expiring grand jury. That, with the judge's speech before the Indian committee in Washington were two of the agencies that brought about such prompt and speedy action on the part of congress. Jokingly, it would probably be in order for the territory, on the first day of September, 1896, to present Fort smith with a three dollar plaster paris bust of Parker as a memorial for past services.

Article 1, Section 9 of US Constitution Getting to the point of where President-elect Trump has a conflict and should be rejected by the Electoral College, we find in the last paragraph of Article 1, Section 9 of the US Constitution the following:

"No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state."

It is not consider a "blind" trust if Trump turns over his business to his kids, allowing them to set in meetings with foreign dignitaries. Trump has a real conflict of interest here and should be disqualified by the Electors of the Electoral College.

I'm still with her! I was a "Nasty Women" before. "Buckle-up, Buttercup!" You haven't seen nothin' yet!
Good Night! Good Luck!
