1920 Powwow Yearbook, Alva High

What & Where was... and Who were in... the 1920 Powwow Yearbook? The 1920 Powwow Yearbook was published by The Junior Class of the Alva High School, located in Alva, Woods County, Oklahoma.

This book marked another milestone in the rapid growth of the Alva High School. They tried to present the activities of the classes, the glitter of drama, the victory and defeat on the Athletic field -- all the happenings in and about school. They endeavored to make it surpass the Pow-Wows that had gone before them just as they expected it to be surpassed in turn by those that come after. In this work they had done their best with this quote at the beginning of the yearbook:

"We now present it to you, Gentle Reader, for your consideration of the Alva High School, for her high ideals, loyal services, and untiring leadership toward a better AHS.
