I have found where William Williamson Kouwenhoven's father was Cornelius B. Kouwenhoven, and William and his wife had a son named Cornelius B. Kouwenhoven.

Mr. Kouwenhoven was a member of one of the oldest families in Flatlands, his Holland Dutch ancestors having settled in that section in 1632. He was born in Flatlands 82 years ago (1846) and resided in the Old Kouwenhoven homestead there until 1900, when he built a home in Flatbush, which he later sold. For the last 14 years of of Mr. Kouwenhoven life, he had spent his time traveling. For many years Mr. Kouwenhoven was in the horticultural business. He was a director of the Long Island Safe Deposit Company, the National Bible Institute of New York and the South African Mission. Throughout his life he was deeply interested in church work.

He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Meserole Kouwenhoven; two daughters, Mrs. Addison B. Hall and Mrs. Arthur Buys of Nyack, N.Y.; three sons, Gerrit, an officer of the National City Bank; Dr. John Kouwenhoven of Yonkers and Cornelius B. The services yesterday were conducted by the Rev. Dr. Charles William Roeder, pastor of the Flatlands Dutch Reformed Church, and the Rev. Dr. J. Fredric Berg, pastor of the Dutch Reformed Church of Flatbush. Interment was in the family plot at Greenwood Cemetery.
