The Freshman class of 1920 has the honor of being one of the most lively as well as the most studious classes in Alva High. At the beginning of school we found that we had the highest number of members of any class in school, our enrollment numbering over one hundred.

President -- Fee Chew
Vice-President -- Charles Fewkes
Secretary -- Edith Wheelock
Treasurer -- James Maxwell
Yell Leaders -- Stanley Matthews and John McHenry
Class Sponsors -- Miss Luckan, Miss Vorhies and Mr. Fanning
Class Colors -- Red and White
Class Flower -- Carnation

Soon after the beginning of school we gave a party in the Gym and had quite a jolly time. The evening was spent in games and playing tricks on Mr. Fanning. Miss Luckan, Miss Vorhies, and Mr. Fanning are very enthusiastic class sponsors and helped us in having a fine time.

The Freshmen have been well represented in all class activities, in the boys' and girls' Glee clubs and on the Football and Basketball teams.

In the basketball tournament the Freshmen made a good showing and ranked up with the Juniors and Seniors.
